Frequently Asked Questions:
Does my understanding of the flashcards affect the frequency of the flashcards in the Smart Assistant?
Yes, the better you can answer a flashcard, the less frequently it will be shown to you. Conversely, flashcards that you haven’t mastered yet will appear more often.
How is the order of the flashcards determined?
Our algorithm shows you the most relevant flashcards to maximize your learning progress. The frequency at which flashcards are shown depends on how well you’ve already mastered them, when you last answered them, and how well they’ve been rated.
Can I change the order of the flashcards?
Yes, you can display flashcards in chronological or random order. However, we recommend using the StudySmarter flashcard algorithm, as it adapts to your individual learning process.
Will I receive reminders to study?
Yes, if you have enabled notifications, we’ll send you regular reminders to continue your learning process. Continuous learning has been proven to lead to better learning outcomes and less forgetting!
