On StudySmarter you can segment your flashcards while practicing them. You can choose between the following filter options:
Rating:
Determine which flashcards you want to study based on your understanding of a certain topic. This means, for example, that you can study certain flashcards that you haven't understood completely right before an exam. You can activate as many of the options as you want at the same time. This means that if you select all options, all flashcards of the subject will be displayed.
- Bad: All flashcards you rated as "Bad" will be displayed.
- OK: All flashcards you rated as "OK" will be displayed.
- Good: All flashcards you rated as "Good" will be displayed.
- Hidden: All flashcards you have hidden will be displayed.
- Unrated: All flashcards you haven't rated yet will be displayed.
Sort by:
Determine the order in which the flashcards are displayed.
- Smart assistant: Our flashcard algorithm optimizes the order in which your flashcards are displayed. The order is based on how well you've understood a topic when you last saw the flashcard, and how the flashcard was rated. We recommend you practice your flashcards with the Smart Assistant.
- Random: The flashcards are displayed in a random order.
- Newest first: You will see the flashcards from the newest to the oldest.
- Oldest first: You will see the flashcards from the oldest to the newest.
Created by:
You decide from which creators you want to see flashcards.
- Everyone: You will see all flashcards created and shared for a certain subject.
- Same college: You will see all flashcards you have created yourself or shared by users who study at the same college as you. You will not see shared flashcards created by users who did not select the same college as you.
- Only you: You will only see flashcards that are created by yourself.
Tags
When you select a flashcard tag, you will only see flashcards with that tag.
