You can create your study group on StudySmarter to share documents, notes, and flashcards with your friends.
How can I create a study group? (Web App)
You can create your study group directly in the StudySmarter web app:
- Select "Library" in the left navigation bar.
- Select the set for which you want to create your study group. (You can only set up one study group per set)
- Go to the "Collaborators" section.
- And invite friends/pupils/colleagues to join your learning group.
How can I create a study group? (Mobile App)
You can create your study group directly in the StudySmarter mobile app:
- Go to the "Library" overview. (second icon from the left)
- Select the set for which you want to create your study group.
- Go to the "Collaborators" section.
- And invite friends/pupils/colleagues to join your learning group.
How to Invite new collaborators? (Web App)

Via email:
- Click on the button "Add collaborators".
- Add now the email address of the new member.
- Submit the invitation through a click on "send".
- Now your invitation has been sent to your new study group member.

Via link:
- Activate the switch "allow joining via link" on the bottom left.
- Now you can click on the button "invite collaborators via link" at the bottom right to copy the invite link and then you can invite your friends/pupils/colleagues to the group, for instance, via WhatsApp.
PS: If you activate the switch "allow collaborators to invite," then your members can invite new members.
How to Invite new collaborators? (Mobile App)

Via email:
- Click on the bar "+ enter email to invite".
- Add now the email address of the new member.
- Submit the invitation through a click on "send" on your keyboard.
- Now your invitation has been sent to your new study group member.

Via link:
- Click on "Settings".
- Activate the switch "allow joining via link".
- Now, you can click on the text "Invite collaborators via link" and share the link with your friends/pupils/colleagues via WhatsApp.
PS: If you click "Settings" and the switch "allow collaborators to invite" is on, your members can invite new members.
