Type the answer feature

StudySmarter allows you to type the answer to your flashcards, which can improve your ability to remember information more effectively. 

How can I type the answer to my flashcard? (Web App)

1. Go to the “Library” overview. (second icon in the left navigation bar)

2. Select the set where you want to practice your flashcards.

3. Click the “Start learning” button and choose one of the available learning modes.

4. In the learning mode, click on the keyboard icon located in the lower-left corner.

5. After clicking the icon, a field will appear below your flashcards. Select “Type the answer” to begin typing your response.

6. Once you have entered your answer, press Enter on your keyboard or click the “Send” button on the right side.

7. Your typed answer will then be compared with the correct answer from the flashcard.

How can I type the answer to my flashcard? (Mobile App)

1. Go to the “Library” overview. (second icon from the left)
2. Select the set where you want to practice your flashcards.

3. Click the “Start learning” button and choose one of the available learning modes.

4. In the learning mode, click on the keyboard icon located in the lower-left corner.

5. After clicking the icon, a field will appear below your flashcards. Select “Type the answer” and your keyboard will show up to begin typing your response.

6. Once you have entered your answer, click the “Send” button on the right side.

7. Your typed answer will then be compared with the correct answer from the flashcard.
