To format your flashcards perfectly, we offer you many possibilities. The MathType feature in our Web App allows you to add mathematical formulas to your flashcards easily. That way, you can create flashcards as you like and use them perfectly for your learning process.
How do I add math formulas to my flashcards? (Web App)
- Go to the “Library” overview. (second icon in the left navigation bar)
- Select the set or create a new set for which you want to create flashcards.
- Then, go to the "Flashcards" tab.
- Click on the button "Create flashcards".
- Now, the flashcard creator field opens, and you can enter the question and the answer for your flashcard.
- Click on the three dots to open the other formatting options.
- Select the root symbol √x to open the MathType function.
- Now, the MathType window will open. You can find a wide selection of mathematical symbols and signs in the top bar of the window. The toolbar is divided into several categories and functions like a keyboard. When you click on the symbols and signs, they will be transferred to the text field.
- Once you have entered the formula in the text field, you only have to click on "Insert" in the lower left corner. The formula will now be transferred to your flashcard's question or answer field.
- Finally, click on "Create".
