Create flashcards with Generate AI

What happens when artificial intelligence meets flashcard creation? Generate AI! This new feature allows you to quickly and easily generate flashcards on any topic, so you can start learning right away.

Important: This feature is currently in the testing phase, so occasional minor errors or short wait times may occur.

How to Create Flashcards with Generate AI

1. Go to Your Library
   • Open your Library and select an existing set or create a new set where you want to add flashcards.
2. Start the Generation Process
   1. Click on ”+ Add Materials” or the ”+” icon.
   2. Then, select “Generate Flashcards with AI”.
3. Choose a Generation Method
   • You’ll see three options for generating flashcards:
     1. Files
        1. Upload a file or select one from your library.
        2. Highlight up to 10 pages from the file, with about 5 flashcards created per page.
        3. Customize the generation process:
           • Flashcard Format: Question & Answer, Term & Definition, or Vocabulary.
           • Language: Choose the language of the flashcards.
           • Flashcard Type: Standard or Multiple Choice.
           • Additional Instructions: Add specific requirements for better results.
        4. Click “Generate Flashcards”.
     2. Topics
        1. Write up to four topics in the “Add topic” field (e.g., “English Grammar”).
        2. Customize the generation process:
           • Flashcard Format: Question & Answer, Term & Definition, or Vocabulary.
           • Language: Choose the language of the flashcards.
           • Flashcard Type: Standard or Multiple Choice.
           • Additional Instructions: Add specific requirements for better results.
        3. Click “Generate Flashcards”.
     3. Text
        1. Paste 150 to 30,000 characters of text from a document or website into the text field.
        2. Customize the generation process:
           • Flashcard Format: Question & Answer, Term & Definition, or Vocabulary.
           • Language: Choose the language of the flashcards.
           • Flashcard Type: Standard or Multiple Choice.
           • Additional Instructions: Add specific requirements for better results.
        3. Click “Generate Flashcards”.
4. Start Learning
   • After the flashcards are generated, you’ll be redirected to the flashcard overview, where you can begin learning immediately.
