Create flashcards with Generate AI

What happens when artificial intelligence is connected to flashcard creation? That's right, Generate AI, a new feature that supports you with creating flashcards for your study set! Thanks to the Generate AI feature, you can easily create flashcards for any topic. This will save you a lot of time and allow you to start learning right away.

Important: So far, we have only implemented the Generate AI function for our mobile app. The feature is still in testing, and only a small test group of our users can access the feature. If you do not have the feature in your app, please be patient, this feature will be available to all of our users in the future.

Create your own flashcards with Generate AI (Mobile App)

1. Go to the “Library” overview. (second icon from the left)
2. Select the set or create a new set for which you want to create flashcards.
3. Then go to the "Flashcards" tab.
4. Click on the button "Add flashcards".
5. Next select "Generate with AI". Two options for generating flashcards are now displayed:
   1. "Select topics":
      1. Choose the topics for which you would like to generate flashcards from the topic list. You can select one or several topics as well as add a topic. To do this, click on "Add topic" and enter your desired topic. The more specific your topic term is, the better Generate AI can generate the right flashcards for your desired topic.
      2. Afterward, click on "Done" to confirm your selected topics.
      3. Finally, click on "Generate flashcards" and Generate AI will generate your flashcards. Please be patient, the generation can take a few seconds. The generated flashcards are now displayed in your study set and are tagged with the respective topic and our AI symbol.
   2. "Write or paste text":
      1. A text field appears, and you can write a text about a topic or insert a text, from which Generate AI should generate flashcards. You can for example, insert a note from your study material, a document, or an article from the internet. The flashcards will then be created based on this text. Kindly note that you can enter up to 3000 signs. 
      2. Click "Generate flashcards" after writing or inserting your text. Please be patient, the generation can take a few seconds. The generated flashcards are now displayed in your study set and are tagged with our AI symbol.
6. After Generate AI has generated flashcards for your study set, you will be taken back to your flashcard overview, and you can begin studying!
