Type the answer feature

StudySmarter gives you the option to type the answer to your flashcard. By writing the answer out, you will be able to remember it even better and learn the information more effectively. 

How can I type the answer to my flashcard? (Web App)

  1. Go to the “Library” overview. (second icon in the left navigation bar)
  2. Now go to the set in which you want to learn your flashcards.
  3. Click on the "Flashcards" tab.
  4. Now select the "Practice" mode to learn your flashcards.
  5. Then click on the keyboard icon in the lower-left corner.
  6. After clicking on the keyboard icon, a field will appear under your flashcards. Now you can click on “Type the answer”, and your keyboard will show up.
  7. Once you have written the answer, click on the arrow on the right to submit it.
  8. Last but not least, it will compare your submitted answer to the flashcard answer.

Important: The type the answer feature for our Web App is still in test. Currently, this feature is only available for 50% of our users. Please be patient if you cannot find the feature in your Web App, as you will have it in a few weeks.
